Carrot Juice Diet
The carrot juice diet is a diet that combines carrot juice and ginger. It's only intended as a one day juice diet to revitalize and provide energy. Beta-carotene in carrot juice strengthens your immune system, oxygenates your cells, and protects your skin and mucous membrane.
The idea is to drink nothing but carrot juice for breakfast. Using a juice extractor, juice 2 carrots (for 1 person). You can drink the carrot juice straight or as I do - dilute with apple juice - because carrot juice is very sweet. You can also drink ginger tea during the day or water with lemon juice, which stimulates your digestive system.
Drink the carrot juice diet for the remainder of the day if you dare.
The carrot juice diet consists of the following:
*Portion is 2 cups
*Juice 2 carrots and 1 apple
*Blend with 1 tsp mustard seed, 1 banana, soymilk, aloe vera juice, kinako or soybean flour avocado, and honey to enhance the taste.
The carrot juice diet contains an unusual combination of ingredients. Fresh carrot juice as part of a healthy diet provides a sweet burst of energy all by itself.
So if you have a cold, dry skin, or feeling tired or run-down, try a shot of fresh carrot juice it just might work.
